This post doesn’t have a particular strong theme going on. It was just a really good day. One I want to remember and look back on with love in my heart. It was the first time we went to the zoo since school started back up. This particular zoo (Happy Hollow) not only has animals, but has some seriously cool rides and a puppet theater. It gets packed during the summer so we waited for school to start up before visting again. Samantha and Sean are such little pals. They were like peas in a pod getting toted around in their radio flyer wagon and going on rides together. Samantha definitely shows her older sibling dominance from time to time, but there’s a lot of playful laughter that goes on between these two too. I love it. Lately I’ve been staying a little longer in their rooms staring at them while they sleep, and letting ourselves be late so they can take their time… just being kids. It’s such short little season that i forget to cherish. The idea that every moment is gone as quickly as it arrives gives me SUCH a wake up call. I’m so thankful for these little guys. Slow down kids!
