fb.cornFirst I’d like to say thank you to FB for being so generous to their employees. Brad told me that going to these functions makes him want to work even harder. It’s very inspiring and we are so grateful. This year’s party was held at Shoreline Amphitheater with a carnival theme. When we first walked in, they had a whole section devoted to just bubbles. So naturally my kids were in heaven. As we munched on kid food (chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and watermelon) we got showered with an abundance of bubbles. Brad kept ducking behind me when the big ones came our way. After that we saw some pretty funny karaoke spectacles  and us adults enjoyed some very unhealthy fair food.  Samantha got to jump around in the jump house, they both had some popsicles, and we ended the day with some carnival rides. As we were leaving an expected 2 year old cry fest occurred which meant she had a blast and NEEDED a nap. FB never disappoints =)

HERE’s last years party which was on a fighter craft carier.

I’m announcing the Giveaway winner!

Looks like you guys had a fun time. It is so nice that FB does that for the employees and their families. That corn looks soooo good!

  3. Great Photos! What camera are you using? My beloved 22 year old Olympus died on me and I need to shop for a new one, no idea where to begin!

Sounds like Facebook treats their employees well, treasure it, it’s a rare thing these days!

Hi Tracy,In this post I actually just used my iPhone, but when I take nicer photos I have an old DSLR Canon camera with a 50mm 1.4 lens. The lens is what makes all the difference. If you are looking for a new camera I would recommend looking into the Canon Rebel collection and also the 50mm lenses. They have different kinds of 50mm. Like I said mine is the 1.4 which is the more expensive one, but the 1.8 f stop is still a very good lens and significantly less expensive. I got the more expensive one because it lets in more light. If you don’t want to start off with a 50mm, you can alway get the standard kit lens.
