DIY-iPhone-cases

One of the (many) fun perks of owning an iPhone is picking out the case. As much as a case is built for protection, it’s definitely considered an accessory too. In fact, I think you’ll find it in the accessories department at most stores. Everyone has their own style and I sometimes find myself wishing I could create something myself instead of relying on professional designers. That’s why I was really excited when Shutterfly contacted me to do a fun collaboration! Not only are they offering one of their awesome personalized iPhone cases for a giveaway, but they provided a neat (and hilarious, look at #6) Infographic on The Top 10 Things you Didn’t Know about iPhone Cases.

Here are the details for the giveaway:

1. Visit Shutterfly’s website and look at all the different personalized iPhone cases.

2. Leave a comment below telling me which statistic on the Infographic was most informative/interesting to you.

3. The Giveaway winner will be announced on Friday May 3rd at 3pm PST. Check back here on this blog post too see if you are the winner!

P.S.

This is not a requirement to participate in the giveaway, but if you like my Facebook page you’ll see me announce the winner on your newfeed on Friday =)

  1. Totally entering because I’ve been dropping my phone like CRAZY lately, and I’m terrified the screen’s going to shatter. Most interesting statistic? #5 about the toilet….GROSS! Thanks for a fun giveaway, girl!

  2. AmyM says:

#5: I would have thought more people would have dropped their phone in the toilet. My husband has twice! :-P Only 76% have ever dropped their phone? Ever? I think some people are lying about their klutziness… I drop mine at least once a week.

  3. Paula Q. says:

Number 8 is crazy! Who would pay $100,000 for a case?!?!

  4. Jamielynn says:

1.) I love the “You are my sunshine” case.
2.) Number 5! I would have guessed more then 13% haha
3.) Sarah I love your blog is soooo cute. First time I’ve seen it on a computer :)

    • Sarah says:

Awww thank you Jaimlynn!!!! I’m so glad you got to check it out on the “big screen” lol. We are still working on the mobile version.

  5. Kim says:

I like the Frosted glass Monogram one. =) Very interesting facts =) AND very cool that you got to do this! =)

  6. chantal says:

love the case! what a fun idea. i had no idea Shutterfly was doing that!

  7. Aubri says:

#8 that is insane!!! Impressive diamond studded case LOL. All these cases look so cool, such a good idea for Christmas gifts too (get ready grandma LOL) :)

  8. ema says:

    #8 that’s just crazy!!!! :)

  9. Florence L says:

#8 who would pay so much for a case?!?!? That’s nuts to me. Especially when I drop my phone so much haha!

  10. Leilani says:

I would say #8 is most interesting. I don’t understand why anyone would want to spend that much on a case, especially if the phone is only worth a minor fraction of that.

  11. Laurie says:

Such a fun giveaway! #8 is just crazy! I can’t imagine buying a case that costs more than my phone.

  12. Meg says:

picking a new case for my recent purchase of an iphone i finally joined the bandwagon was stressful!! honestly it was and then i was shocked at the prices of cases, holy cow they were pricey!

  13. Melissa Pena says:

I think I’m in that 22% who replace their cases when a nicer design is available. I get bored so quick with my cases. Plus I’m also in that percent that drops their phone :S

  14. Wonderful giveaway and tweeted this, because I just did a similar giveaway last week and absolutely love this concept!! :)

  15. Ashley Jendrejas says:

I definitely fall in the category of #6…I need the case for my phones protection. With a toddler and a baby, the phone is constantly being picked up and played with. No telling if it will end up on the kitchen floor or the toliet, so yes a case for my iPhone is a requirement!

  16. Jessie says:

Really dropping the iphone in the toilet grosses me out! That had to be the most shocking. But I totally love the cases!

  17. Maria says:

100,000 for an iphone case!!! crazy!!!

  18. JJFotography says:

    #8, most expensive cases

For $100,000+, it better protect your iPhone from toilets, hot tubs, and being run over!

  19. Tatiana says:

I can’t believe that many people think their case should survive being run over by a car! that’s crazy!

    visiting from monday mingling :)

  20. Statistic #6 surprised me. I didn’t think that many people would expect their case to survive being run over by a car!!!
    Thanks for the chance,
    Kim

  23. I love the statistic about the $100,000 case. Sounds like something the Katdashians either created or paid for. Love the chevron cases. So cute!!!!!

  24. Ashley says:

I thought #3, too me, was the most interesting. I have one heavy duty case and the rest are to coordinate styles colors or provide functionality, like one with a card holder. #8 is just crazy thats just too much for me to even wrap my brain around! Btw, so extremely proud of the success with your blog! XxOo
