Photo completely unrelated to this topic, but I love it.

Not that it’s ever been a big mystery. Early on I knew this would be considered a “lifestyle” blog. I have categories set up for all the different topics I usually touch, but I’ve come to a crossroads. I had to decide if this was a casual thing like a small hobby, or if this was something more I wanted to pursue. Blogging can be very time consuming trying to get your name out there, but I couldn’t help wanting it to be more than a little hobby. Then I had to ask myself what do I want out of this blog IF I were to take it further? As much as perks, free stuff, and possibly pay sounds attractive it’s not really something I’m wanting to actively seek at this moment. Then it just hit me all of a sudden. I realized I would be so humbled and overjoyed if people came here to see and be inspired about being a mother who stays at home with her children and tends her family. Not a wallflower, idle, bon bon eater that has a bad rap for being super boring. But an exciting, loving, and visually beautiful blog to help ignite the inspiration when it comes to home life. If I can encourage that then that’s all it would take to give me contentment with this blog. It might seem like a small goal, but it’s an idea. Ideas can definitely blossom and be very contagious. I love it when I come across something in the blog world that gets me so excited that I can’t wait to try it with my own family. If I could provide something similar and get the same reaction out of other people, OH MAN that would be so rewarding.

So there it is. I hope I look back on this blog post in years to come and smile with satisfaction =)

I often wonder how many people actually read my posts. But I don’t have the desire to become a “blog of note” or have 100,000 nameless readers. So I’m writing this to say that I am a consistent reader. I am inspired by your projects and your family time and your awesome faith. And I am excited to hear about your adventures to come! Good work, Sarah.

This is the first time that I have looked at your blog and this post gave me warm fuzzies! I would LOVE to follow a new blog about staying at home and being a great mother and wife. I loved your little preserves and pie recipe so, I kept scrolling. I’m dealing with the same thing. I’ve had my blog for over a year and have grown a lot as a person through it but, not gained many viewers on the way. I hope that your blog becomes all that you dream it to be.
