A friend of mine recently announced that she is in escrow to buy a home in a vintage old towne. The house is simply adorable and it re-kindled my love for vintage homes… particularly bungalows. I used to live in Old Towne Orange (does anyone know why there is an “e” at the end of town?). Brad and I LOVED living there. We literally lived in a shoe box, but it was such a sweet and humbling time in our marriage that I look back at with fond memories.

The below picture is the house we lived in in Old Towne Orange. It’s called The Shaffer House and the owner turned it into apartments.

These other pictures are bungalows that I absolutely love.

This last picture I’m not sure if it’s an actual bungalow, but if I can find a house that will fit the style, I would LOVE to have a gray house with white trim and yellow door =)
