I am happy to officially announce (finally!!!!!) That Brad and I, Lord willing, are going to have a baby!!!!! Praise God!!!!! Wooohoooo!!!!!! We feel so abundantly blessed and thankful to the Lord. We are 11 weeks pregnant and the due date is October 6, 2010.

Again, the Lord has taught me patience and I am so thankful to him for doing so. I really can’t complain because many women experience years of waiting and multiple miscarriages, but with my specific situation the Lord has definitely been refining me. Let me tell you, waiting 11 weeks with very few people knowing about the baby was SOOOOO hard for me. If it was my choice the moment we got the positive pregnancy test the WHOLE WORLD would have known, but Brad convinced me that it might be a good idea to wait and tell everyone once we pass the major danger zone.

We’ve already experienced some little blessings that originally started off as scares. I won’t give too much detail, but I was having some mild bleeding issues and hormonal issues so I was put on progesterone for the first trimester AND I had to go in almost every week to have check ups. It was kind of scary thinking I could possibly miscarry. The blessings were not only not having a miscarriage, but I got the babies first pictures at 7 weeks which is pretty early and I got to hear the heart beat at 8 weeks too!!! Both special treats to put my mind at ease.

I don’t want to throw too much info at you because a lot has happened in the past 11 weeks, but I will get you up to date with all baby info and keep you up to date.

Here I am the night we found out. I’m about 5 weeks at this point =)

It’s faint, but there are definitely 2 lines. Just to be sure I took another one a week later and the line showed up loud and clear that time hehe.

Here’s the baby at 7 weeks

Here is the baby at about 10 weeks

    Sarah and Brad –
CONGRATULATIONS! May God continue to bless you through the pregnancy and the arrival of a precious gift straight from him! I am glad you learned the lesson of patience — Lord knows I still have to pray for this!!! I will pray that the pregnancy not only continues but that you have it through the roughest times now and your faith will be made stronger through this! God Bless both you, brad and little baby!
