Proverbs 30: 7-9
7 Two things I ask of you;
deny them not to me(K) before I die:
8 Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is(L) needful for me,
9 lest I be(M) full and(N) deny you
and say,(O) “Who is the LORD?”
or lest I be poor and steal
(P) and profane the name of my God.
I’ve been trying to keep this proverb on my mind. We are in a position where we are saving money for a house, especially since Brad got his job back. It’s difficult sometimes to not try and desire a lot more than what we need whether it be shopping for clothes or looking at a really nice house. I’m trying to keep this verse in my head when it comes to these things so I won’t be distracted by the world.
